# Creatives have already lost their jobs Go back to [[Week 3 - Introduction]] --- They agree with the general concensus that two things will keep journalists in a job despite automation: - Creativity - New roles created by new technology --- In addition, it is obvious that the emergence of new tech-nologies and, consequently, opportunities for the imple-mentation of new tasks, on the contrary, add work in which journalists can be involved and integrated in a large mech-anism of a so-called hybridof a human laborand input of automated systems.
